On boarding the MS Volendam you’ll immediately be struck by the ‘floral’ motif – with flowers, of one sort or another a feature throughout the public rooms and staterooms. Although one of the largest in her day, the MS Volendam is now considered a mid to large sized cruiser and can accommodate up to 1400 passengers. She sails on lengthy cruises to New Zealand and Australia taking in some wonders of the world including the Great Barrier Reef. Dress code on formal night is very dressed up – a tuxedo and tie for men – and an evening gown for women.
