Due to the region being home to thousands of islands, Caribbean cruises are generally separated into three regions: east, west and south. There is no distinct definition of which islands fall into which region, so different types of Caribbean cruises may have some overlap. For instance, Jamaica might be visited on an eastern and western cruise. Islands within the region of the East Caribbean include the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Tortola, St. Marteen, St. Thomas, and the Turks and Caicos Islands. These islands include some of the Caribbean’s very best beaches and lively cultures.
